So what’s up with this guy trying to lose weight in a week?

What my name is and what I do is really unimportant. I’m an unhealthy American who needs to lose weight. I’m severely obese and have a high risk for cardiac disease and even a heart attack. I’m not quite sure what the wakeup call was but I definitely want to change. I build websites for a living so I figured, why not put up a website about myself losing weight. I know that if I have a community behind me that I can do anything.

So why have you give yourself a week?

I chose 7 days to lose weight because it’s a great measurement tool. There are several different types of weight-loss products that all promise results in around 7 days. My goal is to try 1 of these a week. I’m not going to take any diet pills or any other type of synthesized chemical to try and lose weight. Weight loss is hard work and persistence and I’m going to measure my success in 7 day intervals.

Aren’t you worried about your health with all these extreme diets?

The answer to the question is simple: I’m more worried about what would happen to me if I don’t take any action at all. Because of my current weight, 320 pounds at the time of writing this, I can’t really do any harm by trying to lose weight. I’m in a unique position because other than being severely obese I’m actually in great health. Sounds cliché, I know. But I can run the mile in 10 minutes; I love to play basketball and can probably run faster than someone who is in great health. All my life I’ve been a “large” person and have developed muscles to support my “largeness”.

Okay. So maybe you can do this. What’s your Plan?

My plan is to start off with a 7 day detox diet in which I’ll flush all the toxins and nasty stuff in my body out. I’ll probably take about 2 -3 days between each diet course eating regular food. While on the diet I’ll post daily results talking about how I feel and what I’ve done throughout the day. At the end of the day this website is for me. I’m not trying to become a weight-loss celebrity but am trying to become a healthy individual who can achieve his normal weight.

    You have excellent plan to fight obese problem. Do not lose heart. You will certainly get what you desire. Just take actions and never stop unless you are through. Strengthening the muscles is one of the best options for obese people.
